The Peregrine Thrusters have been a favorite of ours and customers since we released them several years back. The outline is a relatively upright pivot template which is ideal for surfing vertically in the pocket as well as allowing for quick snaps and tight radius turns.

We’re offering the Peregrine fronts with our JL trailers. The pairing works beautifully… these quads are fast and responsive. Expect to feel like your board is attached to your feet. They've been a recent favorite of Taylor Knox in the quad fishes that he's developing with Chris Borst.

Great Fins

I got these fins to use on a Puddle Jumper HP in Libtech construction (Futures compatible boxes). NVS recommended them or the JL quads to me (I went with these ones). They also recommended that I go with Mediums for my weight, etc. (I usually ride Larges but I gave the Mediums a shot since I lost some weight recently). Right off the bat the quality seems great but to be honest the first time that I tried them I didn’t really like them. They felt too pivoty and when I tried to do a cutback/roundhouse I kept sliding my tail out at the end of the “U” turn—which I guess sounds cool except that that’s not what I was trying to do. I gave them a second chance and had a lot more fun on them the second session. By the third session I had a pretty good feel for them and felt like I had a lot of control. Now I look forward to small/medium size days because I have such a blast riding that board! The fins are maneuverable and fast and seem to be really well made.

Quad or Tri Winners

This template has turned out to be my favorite fin for my all around shortboard. Big fan of NVS fins for years and I tried everything they make with great results. These fins are the one stop shop for my all around shortboard 🤙
