The C-Drive Fins® template was developed by Troy Clutton C&C Fin Design and has been used by the likes of Ross Clarke-Jones, Maurice Cole and many others. The unique design is so innovative it was awarded a worldwide patent.

So how does it work?  The combination of a very wide base with lots of surface area lower in the fin provides ridiculous amounts of drive paired with the cutout and more refined tip allow for more maneuverability.  The base is wider than the depth which isn’t seen in your typical thruster fins.

Best suited for Intermediate+ to advanced surfers who spend more time on rail and those who like to get in late.

The C-Drive fins are a stiff fin which is why we made them with G10 fiberglass, we’re able to keep the rigidity needed for these to perform properly while keeping them foiled thinner than when using standard fiberglass.

These aren’t like your standard fins and will take a few sessions to get used to but once you’ve ridden them you’ll be hooked.  Think about it as the drive of a keel fine with the agility of your thrusters.

Absolutely amazing

Just got some large thrusters and they have absolutely amazed me in there performance. 185cm/97kgs getting a little older and struggling to get the drive I was needing out of large regular fins, so decided to give them a go and wow. If you haven't tried them you need to! They really do give so much more drive and speed. While still allowing great control and great feel when pushed against. Especially noticeable on my backhand waves that I used to pump my ass off just trying to keep up with, can now just stand and stay in sweetspot effortlessly. Good predictable release when pushed through turns and instant bite back in when needed. Can't see myself using normal fins again in a hurry. Quality strong stiff build. Great fin!!!!!!!!

Caught off guard

Picked up a pair of mediums. I am 5’10 170 and I ride them in my 6’4 Loot from Hayden and it is crazy how much more fun I’m having. I was riding Blacksticks from future previously. I have no problem beating out the white wash and have tons of drive. The fins are so versatile and ready for any type of riding you throw at them. Buy them you won’t regret it.

Pd NVS Great Work

Give’em a try

Couldn’t find any decent reviews on these, so here you go. I’ve only ridden these in my mid-eggy board, and i’m 195lbs and went with the mediums.
The drive difference from a standard fin is noticeable, but what was more obvious to me was the feeling of lift in the tail. They provide plenty of control and don’t feel as much of a departure from a standard fin as you’d think from the look. Had them at a low tide day at Rincon and was driving thru and around sections more easily than with my other fin set up. I’m going try them as the leads on a quad set up with standard rears, they seem versatile. If you are a above the lip, fins free guy, these might not be for you, but hard carves and down the line speed these will do the the trick.
The quality seems at or above the big names. They do whistle a bit when at speed, the trailing edge is sharp so you may need to sand if you don’t dig the speed whistle. Give them a shot!
